Meet Your Therapist

Hi there! I am Sara and I started Real Talk with the purpose of creating a space where you can come and feel comfortable, respected, and safe. I have worked in the counseling field in many different settings and know how difficult it can be to find a therapist that you connect with. It is my goal to be someone you can trust and feel comfortable with to walk alongside you throughout your personal journey.

Professional:

I have a background in offering both individual and group counseling services. I received my professional counseling degree from Grand Canyon University and have certifications in Dialectic Behavior Therapy and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have a deep understanding of how our backgrounds and stories have influenced where we are today, and I am passionate about connecting with each person individually to find the best path to where you want to be. 

Personal:
I love spending free time with my family, which includes four adorable dogs. I enjoy cooking, and specifically love baking (I used to have my own little catering business). I will almost always say yes to learning something new and my hobbies range from small arts and crafts to biking on open roads and anything in between.

Style:
As a therapist, my style is often described as direct and to-the-point, but always with care and kindness. I want to support you in achieving the goals you have for your life, and find that being more up front will assist in getting to those goals more directly. Honesty, integrity, respect, and excellence are the four pillars I strive to uphold in my practice to create a safe space that allows for healing and growth.
